Srinagar, Jan 12 ( KNS): Demonstrating 'unwavering support and appreciation for the dedicated troops', Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, Army Commander of the Northern Command, and Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding WhiteKnightCorps, conducted a visit to the forward posts in the Rajouri Sector.
News agency KNS reported that during this visit, both commanders actively engaged with the troops, commending their unyielding morale and relentless commitment to maintaining round-the-clock vigilance.
"Lt Gen Dwivedi expressed deep appreciation for the high spirits displayed by the troops and praised their vigilance, recognizing its pivotal role in ensuring the security of the region.
Encouraging the soldiers to persist in their exemplary work with zeal and dedication, Lt Gen Dwivedi emphasized the importance of their role in fostering a stable security environment. The commanders' presence and words served as a powerful affirmation of the leadership's commitment to actively engage with and acknowledge the efforts of military personnel stationed in critical areas," the Army said.
