Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator from Doda, Mehraj Malik, stated on Friday that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have chosen their own government, not New Delhi, and it should be allowed to serve them without interference.
"The BJP should not replicate its actions from Delhi in Jammu and Kashmir," he told KNS in an exclusive and candid interview.
Malik expressed hope that the Omar Abdullah-led government would address the hardships faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have long suffered due to bureaucratic issues.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"The BJP shouldn’t think they can get involved in the J&K government or interfere in matters beyond their scope. We won’t allow that here," he asserted.
Malik reiterated that the AAP is committed to working for the welfare of the people, noting that the party has received a mandate from the public to do so.
"I want to become the hope for the hopeless people of J&K," he added. (KNS).
