Srinagar, Nov 2 (KNS): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the recent spate of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, describing them as “unfortunate” but emphasizing that there have been no security lapses. Singh stated that security forces are vigilant and responding effectively to these incidents.
He also highlighted that the frequency of attacks has decreased compared to earlier times.
Speaking to the press in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Singh said, “This is not an issue of security lapses. Compared to earlier times, attacks have been reduced. Our security forces are on alert, and there will come a time when terror activities from Jammu and Kashmir will be fully eradicated, allowing for rapid development in the region.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
He further affirmed, “The attacks that happened were unfortunate, but our security forces are giving a befitting reply. Many terrorists have been neutralized.”
Earlier today, a confrontation unfolded between security forces and terrorists in the Khanyar area of Srinagar, underscoring the ongoing conflict in the region. (KNS)
