Bandipora, April 23 (KNS): In a proactive measure against unsafe practices, the Rural Traffic Police in Bandipora seized eight school buses and challaned nine others, lacking proper documentation during a special operation.
As per the details available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the initiative, directed by SSP Traffic Rural Ravinder Paul Singh, aimed to address traffic violations and ensure public safety.

The concerns were raised by locals regarding the unchecked presence of undocumented school vehicles in Bandipora.
The residents reported that schools have hired many autos and Magic vehicles for student transportation, some operating without adequate documentation.
They urged SSP Traffic to deploy a special teams to effectively address this issue and ensure compliance with regulations.
Meanwhile 85 other vehicles were also challaned for lacking proper documents to ensure public safety. (KNS)
