Ganderbal, June 10 (KNS): One person was died and six other persons including a woman and two children were injured after a vehicle skidded off the Srinagar kargil highway in Sarbal Sonamarg atea of central Kashmirs Ganderbal district here on Monday.

Dysp traffic Ganderbal Gulzar Ahmad told KNS that a vehicle bearing registration no PB01A 4898 comming from Kargil towards Sonamarg with six passengers (one lady 02 children 03 men and driver) skidded off the road near Sarbal area of Sonamarg and fell into a deep gorge resulting in injuries to six persons and one person lost his life in the incident.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Official said that the injured persons were shifted to PHC Sonamarg for treatment and the deceased who has lost his life in the incident has been identified as Tarseem lal son of Nathu Ram resident of Janipor Gurdaspor Punjab.

Meanwhile Traffic police and Sonamarg police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KNS)
