Kulgam, June 21 (KNS): The 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm at the Mini Secretariat Kulgam today, with a large gathering of officials, students, and yoga enthusiasts joining the global movement for health and wellness.
The main event was graced by DDC Chairperson Mohammad Afzal Parray, Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), ADDC, ADC, ACR, and other senior district officials. A significant number of school students also took part in the event, showcasing their active engagement in promoting a healthy lifestyle through yoga.

In addition to the central event, yoga sessions were also organized at the district court, educational institutions including schools and colleges, and various government offices across the district.
To mark the significance of the day, the District Administration facilitated the live streaming of the Prime Minister’s Yoga Day celebration held in Visakhapatnam, enabling local participants to be part of the national observance.(KNS)
