Srinagar, Aug 15(KNS): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has appointed Nalin Prabhat, IPS (AP:1992) as the Special Director General (SDG) of Jammu & Kashmir Police

"Effective immediately, Prabhat joins the AGMUT Cadre on inter-cadre deputation from Andhra Pradesh and will serve as the Special Director General (SDG) of Jammu & Kashmir Police until September 30, 2024," states an order issued by the MHA.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

In addition, Nalin Prabhat will assume the role of Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu & Kashmir, starting October 1, 2024, following the retirement of the current DGP, Sh. R.R. Swain, IPS (AGMUT:1991). This new assignment will remain in effect until further orders.(KNS).
