Srinagar, July 04 (KNS): Khadi and Village Industries Board Chairperson, Dr. Hina Bhat four lac fifty thousand youth have been empowered so far with women contributing 50% of this financial year's achievements.

Speaking to reporters on sidelines of an event at World Foundation School Mamat Budgam, Hina said that subsidy of 82 crores have also been release to the youth who have started their own Startups and are not earning for themselves but have generated employment to others.

On importance of creating employment opportunities in every corner of the village Hina said that they hope that there will be employment in every corner of the village. It is the directive of the Prime Minister and the Lieutenant Governor to ensure that no community, whether in a village, city, mountaintop, or border area, lack employment opportunities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

She also said that Jammu and Kashmir has the entire thrust of the Indian government that there should be empowerment here and employment should be generated here and all the schemes of the Government of India should be implemented here.

Hina also praised the World Foundation school’s infrastructure and the quality of education being provided. "It has a very beautiful infrastructure. I am very happy to interact with the children. They are getting such a good education in this school. The faculty and staff are very good," she said.

"Sometimes it is very important that you go back to your childhood. School is the first step where children need the right education. I am very hopeful that the students here will go towards a better future", she added.(KNS)
