Jammu July 15 (KNS): Five persons were killed and 17 others injured when a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that 5 persons were killed and 17 other injured as passenger vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into gorge in Doda.
The accident took place on Doda-Bharth road near Ponda when the driver of a tempo traveller lost control while negotiating a blind curve, the police official said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Five persons were found dead and 17 others taken to a hospital. 14 injured have been taken to GMC Doda while three injured have been referred to GMC Jammu. The rescue operation is was underway, the official added. (KNS)
