Srinagar, April 30 (KNS): At least six persons were killed after a gunman stormed a mosque in western Afghanistan, reports said on Tuesday.

Reports quoting Interior ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qani said that an unknown armed person shot at civilian worshippers in a mosque in Herat province's Guzara district at around 9 pm last night.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He said that six civilians were killed and one civilian was injured.

Locals, as per reports, said the mosque served the minority Shiite community and the imam and a three-year-old child were among those killed. (KNS)
