Srinagar, Aug 06 (KNS). The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of several prominent personalities associated with the organisation and the Mirwaiz family. The organisation has extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased.

The deceased include Moulvi Abdul Rashid Farooqi, currently residing in Buchpora Srinagar, who was a prominent scholar and the younger brother of the late Moulana Nooruddin Farooqi, the former president of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith. The deceased also include Habibullah Khan of Sheikh Mohalla Maharaj Ganj Srinagar and Jan Muhammad Mir of Beron Kathi Darwaza Srinagar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The AAC and its leader, Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooqi has paid tribute to all the deceased personalities for their services to society. He made special prayers for their forgiveness and Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Meanwhile, the delegations from the organisation visited Buchpora, Maharaj Ganj and Kathi Darwaza to offer condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the departed souls.(KNS)
