Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani Dismisses Rumors of MLA Defection

Srinagar, Apr 16 (KNS): Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, on Wednesday rejected widespread rumors suggesting that an MLA from the National Conference was preparing to leave the party.

He also urged media organizations to act responsibly and verify news before publication. “The journalists who broke this news must have verified the facts. Reporting without confirmation only misleads the public,” he added.

The Advisor also highlighted the ongoing case in the Supreme Court concerning the Waqf Bill, saying the party has full faith in the judicial system. “The Supreme Court is going to present the case today.
