Srinagar, March 27 (KNS): Advisor to the Chief Minister on Wednesday stressed the need for strengthening Kashmir’s tourism sector, highlighting the role of the Tulip Garden in attracting visitors and boosting the early start of the season.
“This season has begun on a positive note due to the Tulip Garden, drawing a large number of tourists. To sustain and enhance this momentum, we must focus on improving infrastructure and facilities,” the Advisor said.
He stressed the importance of diversifying attractions to ensure year-round tourism.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“If we have a Tulip Garden in Srinagar, we should develop almond and cherry blossom zones elsewhere. Expanding such initiatives will boost tourism across the region,” he added.
The Advisor also underscored the need for better facilities and support for the local population dependent on tourism. “By enhancing infrastructure, creating new attractions, and ensuring sustainability, we can strengthen tourism as a key economic driver for Kashmir,” he stated.(KNS)
