Srinagar January 19 (KNS): AIKS (All India kashmiri samaj)led by its president Ravinder Pandita called on MoS PMO Dr jitendra singh in New Delhi today and submitted a memorandum on Exodus day on behalf of kashmiri pandits.
AIKS also presented special issue of Naad, mouthpiece of the organisation featuring kashmiri pandits Exodus. Recalling the horrors of 19 Jan 1990, the office bearers held placards 'We still exist' highlighting the plight of community and the burning issues. The AIKS case versus state OWP No : 477/2016 was also discussed wherein there is no Solicitor general currently posted in J&K UT.

Secy Sunil koul, Jt Gen secy Ashish zutshi, advisor Sanjay sapru, Shrawan Pandita and others. The minister hailed how the community withstood the exodus and are trying to settle in various parts of country after exodus.
He was apprised of Migrants property act, distress sale act covered under the court case, pending adjudication. " Community is still facing lot of hardships and our rehabilitation back in valley should be prioritised alongwith short term demands" said Ravinder Pandita.(KNS)
