Srinagar, Nov 03(KNS): The Awami Itehad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi has voiced strong support for candidates demanding the release of the waitlist for the JKSSB MTS (Multitasking Staff) Recruitment, Advt. No. 01 of 2020.

Frustrated candidates who participated in the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recruitment process nearly two years ago are calling for transparency, citing the prolonged delay in publishing the official waitlist.

The JKSSB recruitment, guided by SO 184, was conducted in two phases, concluding in October 2022. Under Rule 7 of SO 184, JKSSB is obligated to release a waitlist equivalent to the number of selected candidates, valid for one year with an optional six-month extension. However, two years have passed without the promised list, leaving many candidates in limbo.

Candidates have appealed to the General Administration Department (JKGAD) to intervene, fearing the absence of a waitlist will lead to unfilled positions, diminishing their opportunities for employment. Despite repeated requests, neither JKSSB nor JKGAD has responded to the candidates' concerns.

Inam Un Nabi further emphasized, “We urge the authorities to act swiftly to release the waitlist, ensuring that deserving candidates don’t miss out on their right to employment. AIP stands firm in demanding transparency and justice for job aspirants across J&K.”(KNS).
