AIP Mourns Demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bhat

 Srinagar, Dec 4(KNS): The Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bhat of Gulgam, Kupwara, father of Dr. Firdouse Ahmad Bhat, Senior AIP Leader and District Secretary Kupwara.

The party extended its heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the bereaved family, particularly with Dr. Firdouse, during this time of immense loss and sorrow.

To honor the departed soul, a condolence meeting was convened at the AIP headquarters in Srinagar. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Advocate G.N. Shaheen and attended by General Secretary Nazir Ahmad Khan, Provincial President Prince Parvez, Joint Secretary Advocate Javeed Hubbi and senior leader Ajaz Ahmad. The leaders prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear this irreparable loss.

In addition, another condolence meeting was held at the AIP office in Delhi. The gathering was led by Political Affairs Committee Chairman Ishtiyaq Qadri, alongside Senior AIP Leader and State Secretary Sheikh Ashiq and Party Spokesperson Firdouse Ahmad Baba. A delegation of AIP, led by Chairman of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad along with former BDC Chairman Showkat Pandit visited the residence of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bhat in Gulgam, Kupwara, to personally convey condolences and support to the grieving family. District President Kupwara, Advocate Javeed Ahmad Mir, also expressed his deep sorrow and condoled with the bereaved family. He highlighted the contributions of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bhat as a respected member of the Gulgam community and prayed for eternal peace for his soul.

Speaking on the occasion, AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi said, "We deeply mourn the loss of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bhat and stand firmly with Dr. Firdouse Ahmad Bhat and his family in this time of grief. Our prayers are with the departed soul and we ask Almighty Allah to grant him the highest place in Jannah. May the family find the strength to cope with this tragic loss."(KNS)
