Srinagar, July 27 (KNS) : Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) has urged the Jammu and Kashmir Government to immediately issue the notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) posts, stating that the unexplained delay has left thousands of engineering aspirants anxious and disappointed.
As per the statement, AIP State Secretary Sheikh Ashiq said that several JE vacancies in the PWD, PDD and Jal Shakti Department were referred to Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) for recruitment months ago, as confirmed through RTI replies, yet the notification is still awaited.

AIP urged the government to ensure that the recruitment process is initiated without any further delay so that deserving candidates are not made to suffer due to administrative inaction.
AIP leader further said that Member of Parliament Er Rashid, who is presently on custody parole and attending the ongoing Parliament session, will also take up the matter with the Government and seek immediate issuance of the recruitment notification in the interest of unemployed engineering graduates across Jammu and Kashmir.
