Srinagar, Aug 30 (KNS) The All J&K Shia Association (AJKSA) organised a grand Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ? rally today to commemorate the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa ?, with thousands of devotees, religious scholars, Zakireen, students and members of the community participating in the procession.
The grand procession commenced from Imamia Park, Doonipora, and proceeded towards Imam Bargah Zadibal via Hawal, creating an atmosphere of devotion, brotherhood and spiritual celebration.
Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ? holds profound significance for Muslims across the world as it marks the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ?, whose life and teachings represent mercy, compassion, justice, knowledge, brotherhood and service to humanity. For the Shia community, the occasion is also an opportunity to reaffirm love and devotion towards the Holy Prophet ? and his Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), while strengthening the message of unity and harmony among Muslims.
A large number of Madrassas affiliated with the All J&K Shia Association from across Kashmir participated in the procession. Teachers, students and inspectors of the Madrassas joined the rally and presented Naat recitations in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ?. Religious scholars and Zakireen associated with the AJKSA also participated in the Milad procession.
At MK Chowk, Hawal, Molvi Syed Taib Rizvi, Spokesperson, All J&K Shia Association, addressed the gathering and shed light on the significance of Haft-e-Wahdat, the blessed life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ? and the importance of Muslim unity. He emphasised that the Seerah of the Prophet ? provides a universal message of peace, compassion, justice and unity and called upon Muslims to strengthen their bonds of brotherhood while following the teachings of the Prophet ? and his Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The procession culminated at Imam Bargah Zadibal, where religious programmes and Milad proceedings were held.
President All J&K Shia Association, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, expressed his gratitude to the Srinagar District Administration, Srinagar Police, Traffic Police, SMC, Health Department, KPDCL, Jal Shakti and all other departments for their cooperation, coordination and support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the grand procession.

Molvi Imran Ansari especially thanked DC Srinagar Akshay Labroo, ADC Dr. Fareed, CPO Fayaz Ahmad, SSP Srinagar Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, SDPO Zadibal Rashid Akbar, SHO Zadibal Suhail, SP Traffic Zaheer, Commissioner SMC Fazlul Haseeb, JC Syed Abul Hassan, CMO Srinagar Dr. Tahir, ZMO Zadibal Dr. Rubeena, Executive Engineer Division-IV Syed Nisar and their respective teams, along with all other officers and officials who extended their support and ensured necessary arrangements.
He said that the coordinated efforts of the administration and field departments helped facilitate the peaceful and organised movement of the large gathering and ensured arrangements relating to sanitation, traffic management, health services, civic facilities and other essential requirements.
Molvi Imran Ansari also placed on record his special appreciation for the people of Doonipora and Gazidoori, Zadibal, who made extensive arrangements at Imamia Park and other locations for the devotees. He prayed for their well-being and appreciated their dedication and hospitality.
He further expressed his gratitude to all the volunteers at Imam Bargah Zadibal, who worked tirelessly before and during the programme to make the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ? celebrations successful. He also expressed his gratitude to local social media pages, including Voice of Zadibal, Azdaar Times, Hussaini Paigam Zadibal, Mission Kerbala, Shia TV Kashmir, Ansari Voice, Darul Jawad, Noor E Ahlulbayt, Mission Azadari Kashmir, Qarrar Studio, Imambada Zadibal and others, for covering and highlighting the Milad-un-Nabi ? procession.
The AJKSA President said that the grand gathering was a reflection of the community’s deep love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ? and his Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), while also conveying a strong message of Muslim unity, peace, brotherhood and communal harmony.
He prayed that the blessed occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ? brings peace, prosperity, unity and blessings to Jammu & Kashmir and the entire Muslim Ummah. (KNS).
