Bandipora, Sep 29: The district election officer Manzoor Ahmad Qadri (KAS) on Sunday said that all security and other necessary arrangements have been completed for smooth polls in the district for the third phase of elections on October 01.
Addressing the media DEO Bandipora, said that the 312 polling stations have been set up at 230 locations in three constituencies and all assured minimum facilities have been made available at every polling station.
He also said that several teams have been constituted to monitor any poll-related intimidation and unfair practices. "All arrangements for smooth polling on Oct 01 have been completed for the third phase of elections in Bandipora district,".Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"In every constituency Pink polling and red polling stations have been set up in which persons with disabilities will manage all the things,".
He further added that strong rooms have been set up in the district and the EVMs will be shifted to strong rooms at night hours after the completion of polling.
“In last assembly polls, the district has recorded 62% of polls this time we expect 75% of voting in the district,”. (KNS)
