35 Kashmiri Students Suspended at Rajasthan University

Srinagar, Oct 21(KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on expressed his concern over the reports, which suggest that at least 35 Kashmiri students at Mewar University in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, have been suspended after they staged protests against the university over an unapproved nursing course.

The students say the university has not obtained the necessary approvals from the Rajasthan Nursing Council (RNC) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC) for its BSc Nursing course, putting their academic futures at risk.

In his statement, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari urged the J&K administration to engage with the Rajasthan University authorities to resolve the issue as soon as possible, allowing the students and their parents to have a sigh of relief.
