Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said separatism is now a thing of the past in Kashmir and welcomed the decision of two organizations to sever ties with the Hurriyat.
In a post on X, as reported by Kashmir News Service (KNS), Shah stated that the Modi government's unifying policies have put an end to separatism in Jammu and Kashmir.
"Two organizations linked to the Hurriyat have decided to cut all ties with separatism.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelI welcome this step towards strengthening Bharat's unity and urge other such groups to abandon separatism once and for all," he said.
He described this development as a major victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a peaceful, unified, and developed Bharat.(KNS)
