Srinagar, June 12 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian held a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to discuss key preparations ahead of Muharram 2025.
Representing the Anjuman, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi and Syed Perviz Safvi requested the lifting of the ban on the traditional Muharram procession (Muthida Jaloos) from Abiguzar to Alipark Zadibal.

Highlighting basic civic issues, the delegation raised concerns over inadequate water supply in several localities including Budgam, Sumbal Sonawari, Sofipora Pahalgam, and Zadibal Mir Behri. They requested immediate measures to restore and upgrade the water supply infrastructure before Muharram begins.(KNS)
