Agha Syed Mujtaba Abbas urges alignment of education with the Prophet’s moral teachings

Srinagar, Aug 29 (KNS) : As part of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations, Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian organised a grand Milad procession and Seerah gathering in Magam.

The procession commenced from Mir Aman Complex, Magam, under the leadership of Anjuman Sharie Shian President Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Syed Hassan Mousavi Safavi. It passed through Magam’s main road and concluded at the Yagipora Imambargah in Magam.

The event drew hundreds of male and female students, teachers and staff from branches of Maktabs affiliated with Bab-ul-Ilm, the organisation’s education wing, and from the Hawza Ilmiyya Jamia Bab-ul-Ilm, Mirgund, Budgam. Members and workers of the organisation, religious scholars and a large number of devotees also participated.

A Seerah gathering was held at the Yagipora Imambargah following the procession. Addressing the gathering, Anjuman Sharie Shian General Secretary Hujjat al-Islam Agha Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mousavi Safavi urged students, teachers and the wider public to make the character and life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the fundamental guiding principle of their intellectual and practical lives.

He said that the Prophet’s Seerah is the finest model for all humanity. Referring to the Quranic verse, “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example,” he said that true education must remain rooted in moral values.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Agha Mujtaba Mousavi Safavi commended the services of the organisation’s Department of Education and Training, teachers and other office-bearers, noting their important role in nurturing children’s religious education, moral development and sense of social responsibility. He said that while modern education and scientific advancement are important, knowledge without morality remains incomplete.

Referring to the current global situation, the General Secretary of organisation said that real strength lies not in weapons, trade or influence, but in justice, human dignity and adherence to moral principles. He encouraged the younger generation to excel in acquiring knowledge while remaining connected to the ethical teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He also stressed the need to promote Islam’s true and positive message through awareness, dialogue and the responsible use of media.

Agha Mujtaba Mousavi Safavi thanked the organisation’s zonal and local committees, the Department of Education and Training, teachers, volunteers, students and all organisers for the successful conduct of the programme. He appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the attendees and urged them to continue their efforts to promote the teachings of Islam and the school of thought of Muhammad and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).(KNS)
