Budgam, October 13 (KNS)The annual Urs of Sheikh Noor-u-Din Noorani (RA), known as Sheikh-ul-Alam, was celebrated at Chrar-e-Sharief in Budgam district on Friday with great religious enthusiasm.
Nund Reshi (RA), a venerated saint in Kashmir, is revered by both Muslims and Hindus, underscoring the harmonious coexistence of various communities in the region.
The occasion witnessed thousands of devotees from across the valley converging at the Chrar-e-Sharief shrine. Special prayers, salutations, and supplications were an integral part of the observance.

Devotees recited Darood and Naats, and special prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, visited the shrine to inspect the arrangements made by the administration. She commended the board's work in developing shrines and mosques and emphasized the need for continued efforts in this regard.(KNS)
