Applications Open for RISE UP: The Sustainable Kashmir Fellowship 2025–2026

Are you a young person from Kashmir ready to lead a life rooted in purpose, service, and sustainability? Here is an opportunity to transform yourself and your community.

MOOL Sustainability Research and Training Center, Ganderbal, Kashmir, with support from Royal Enfield, is now accepting applications for RISE UP: The Sustainable Kashmir Fellowship 2025–2026 — a 7-month immersive journey in personal leadership, ecological entrepreneurship, and community impact for young changemakers from across Kashmir.

This one-of-a-kind fellowship equips youth with the mindset, tools, and real-world experiences to build success, and design service-oriented careers and impactful entrepreneurial ventures that respond to the social, ecological, and economic challenges of Kashmir — and the world.

“I am truly grateful for my experience with the MOOL Fellowship. The journey was transformative, helping me turn my interests into a true passion. MOOL not only provided invaluable learning opportunities but also offered a personalized and deeply enriching experience.

Another incredible aspect at MOOL is the opportunity to connect with people from different states, allowing us to share our goals, learn from diverse perspectives, and build a strong network of like-minded individuals.

It’s a platform that nurtures growth, encourages exploration, and empowers individuals to create real impact. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to transform their aspirations into a purpose-driven journey.”

 What Makes RISE UP Unique?

The RISE UP: The Sustainable Kashmir Fellowships 2025–2026 are cultivating a new generation of purpose-driven youth to lead Kashmir toward a regenerative future. This intensive seven-month journey (July 2025 – February 2026) blends immersive training, expert coaching, and hands-on fieldwork to empower fellows to build success, design service-oriented careers, and launch ecological entrepreneurial ventures.

From in-depth residential workshops in Kashmir to rich field exposure in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, fellows engage in a transformative process — developing a regenerative mindset, resilient routines, and the practical skills needed for long-term impact.

Guided by experienced coaches, entrepreneurs, and mentors, fellows learn by doing: participating in deep learning sessions, co-creating with communities, and refining their own social and ecological initiatives. A performance-based stipend supports their journey.

This is more than a fellowship — it is a movement to regenerate livelihoods, restore ecological balance, and reimagine Kashmir’s future, led by its youth.
