 Mumbai, Jan (KNS): Singer Arijit Singh has announced that he will no longer take new assignments as a playback vocalist. He shared the decision with his followers through a post on his official Instagram account.

In his message, Singh thanked listeners for their continued support over the years and said he has decided to stop accepting new playback singing projects. He described his journey in the music industry as meaningful and said he is grateful for the opportunities he received.

The singer clarified that he will complete his existing commitments and that some previously recorded songs may still be released this year. He also assured fans that he is not quitting music altogether.
 
“I won’t stop making music,” Singh said, explaining that he intends to focus on his own creative work outside the traditional playback system.
