Ganderbal, May 19 (KNS) : The District Employment & Counselling Centre (DECC), Ganderbal, today organised a comprehensive Awareness Program under Mission YUVA across various Panchayats like Gutlibagh, Frav Haknaar, Tulmula A, Search, Darend, Gund, Goniwan in the Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir.
The initiative aimed at spreading awareness about the objectives and benefits of Mission YUVA, a youth-centric employment and empowerment initiative launched by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
Participants were briefed about the mission’s key features, eligibility criteria, and the step-by-step application process. A special focus was laid on the usage of the Mission YUVA mobile application, enabling seamless access to opportunities for skill development, entrepreneurship, and career guidance.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The awareness camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth, PRI members, and community stakeholders. Block Development Officer (BDO) Gund was also present and appreciated the efforts of DECC in reaching out to the grassroots level.
Officials from the DECC emphasised the importance of such outreach programs in empowering rural youth and connecting them with various government schemes and career opportunities.
Today's programme was organised in the Multipurpose hall, BDO office, Gund, and Panchayat Ghar, Poshkar Kangan.
The initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to boost youth engagement, skill development, and employment generation across Jammu & Kashmir.
