Bandipora, Sep 24 (KNS): The ballot voting for the third phase of assembly elections via postal ballots begins from today for the third phase of assembly elections for senior and PWD citizens across the Bandipora district of North Kashmir.

"I am physically disabled I can not go to the polling stations to cast my vote, this is my second vote at my home which is thankful to the government for providing us with these facilities at my doorstep," Manzoor Ahmad, a resident of Quilmuqam Bandipora told KNS.

Another senior citizen emphasized the importance of their votes and said every single vote matters.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelShe is thankful to the government for providing them the opportunity to cast their votes in their homes.

She also said that everybody should take part in this process and choose their representatives.

The teams were flagged off today by the District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri from district headquarters for various areas of the district.

"41 teams have been flagged off today for home voting for 504 votes enrolled for home voting in Bandipora district," DEO Bandipora Manzoor Qadri said. (KNS)
