Baramulla Police Administer Integrity Pledge Against Corruption

 Baramulla, 28 Oct(KNS): Baramulla Police administrated "Integrity Pledge" in its jurisdictional Police establishments.

All Officers and jawans took pledge for zero tolerance to corruption at each Police establishment. In District Police Headquarters Baramulla, ADO DPHQ Baramulla Sh Ghulam Jeelani Tagoo read out the pledge to the officers and jawans.

ADO DPHQ Baramulla on the event said that "we believe that corruption has been one of the major obstacles to economic, political and social progress of our country”. He also stated that all stakeholders such as Governments, citizens and private sectors need to work together to eradicate corruption.

We, therefore, pledge: To follow probity and rule of law in all walks of life;To neither take nor offer bribe;To perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner;To be accountable for my actions;To act in public interest;To lead by example exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour; To report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency.

Similarly, at District Police Lines Baramulla Altaf Ahmad Khan-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla administered the Integrity pledge to officers/ Jawans, SDPO Pattan/ Uri/ Tangmarg/ Kreeri and SHOs/DOs also administered the Integrity Pledge to officers/jawans at their respective offices and  jurisdictional police stations/ police posts.(KNS).
