Srinagar, Oct 03(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina expressed confidence that the party would secure an absolute majority in the upcoming elections on October 8.
While addressing a news conference, he noted that voter turnout across all three phases of the assembly polls indicated strong support for the BJP.
He said that citizens from various regions participated actively in the elections, reflecting their trust in the democratic process and the BJP’s agenda, which aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.

Raina highlighted the extensive campaigning efforts by key BJP leaders, including Modi and other prominent figures, and expressed optimism about the party's performance in both Jammu and Kashmir.
Regarding alliances with other parties, Raina suggested waiting for the election results before discussing any partnerships.
He also acknowledged the role of security agencies and the Election Commission in facilitating a peaceful election process, thanking various stakeholders for their contributions.(KNS).
