Srinagar October 12 (KNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Ali Muhammad Mir, Rakesh Mahajan, and Sat Pal Sharma will contest for the three seats allocated to the Union Territory.
The announcement follows internal consultations with senior leaders from both Jammu and the Valley.
The elections are expected to test the BJP’s influence in the newly restructured political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
