Baramulla, 24 Feb. (KNS): Burglars stole a Maruti 800 in broad daylight outside the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kreeri area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) stated that today, in the evening, the victim, Muntazir Hafiz Bhat, a resident of Buchoo Pattan, went to SDH Kreeri with his wife for her treatment.
According to witnesses, when Bhat parked his white Maruti 800, registration number JK02AS9882, outside the hospital premises and entered the hospital with his wife, he returned after a short while only to find his car missing.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Upon searching extensively, he immediately notified the police. A team from Kreeri police station promptly responded, and upon reviewing CCTV footage, unidentified thieves were observed stealing the car.
Sources informed KNS that the victim had inadvertently left the car unlocked with the keys inside, facilitating the burglary.
A police official, confirming the incident to KNS, stated, "We have taken cognizance of the burglary incident and initiated investigations."(KNS).
