Cages set up as Leopard hunt on in Kulgam

 Srinagar, Oct 24(KNS): The Wildlife Department has installed cages in multiple locations within the Brinal Lammer area of the Devsar Belt in Kulgam district after a minor was killed in a leopard attack.

An official said that this ove aims to capture the leopard and prevent further attacks. The Wildlife Department has placed cages strategically to capture the leopard alive, he said, adding that search operations are underway in the area where the attack occurred.

Residents are advised to keep children indoors before 5 PM and not let them go outside until after 10 AM.(KNS).
