Candlelight March Held in Shopian to express solidarity with Ex_Army men killed in Kulgam Terror attack

Srinagar February 05 (KNS): A  candlelight march was held in Shopian on Tuesday evening to condemn the brutal killing of a Ex_Army men and the injuring of his wife and niece in a terrorist attack in Kulgam’s Behbaug area on Monday.

The march witnessed participation from people across different sections of society, including police officials, members of civil society, and schoolchildren, who came together to express their grief and solidarity with the victims’ family. The Ex_Army officer was shot dead by terrorists, while his wife and niece sustained injuries in the attack. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with people condemning the targeted violence and urging authorities to take strict action against those responsible.

The candlelight vigil served as a message of unity and resilience, as people vowed to stand against terrorism and work towards a peaceful Kashmir.(KNS)
