Srinagar, Mar 19 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government has constituted a committee to examine issues related to the regularization of Casual, Seasonal Labourers, and Other Workers in the Union Territory. The committee will be headed by the Chief Secretary and includes key officials from finance, administration, planning, and law departments.
As per Government Order No. 384-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the committee will assess the humanitarian, legal, and financial aspects of regularization and suggest a comprehensive solution.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe committee is authorized to co-opt additional members if needed.
The General Administration Department will service the committee, and it has been directed to submit its report within six months. (KNS)
