Classwork suspended for primary students in Kashmir due to heat wave

Srinagar, July 28, (KNS): The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir has ordered the suspension of classwork for students up to the Primary level in both Government and Recognized Private Schools due to the ongoing heat wave in the valley. This suspension will be in effect on the 29th and 30th of July, 2024.

Despite the suspension for students, all teaching and non-teaching staff are required to attend their duties as usual.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

This measure aims to protect young students from the severe heat conditions currently prevailing in the region.

The Director of School Education Kashmir and other officials have also been informed to ensure widespread awareness.(KNS)
