Srinagar, Apr 20 (KNS): In view of the ongoing severe weather conditions, the Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Friday announced that classwork in all schools across the Kashmir valley will remain suspended for one day on April 21.
Taking to social media site X, the minister informed that the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
“In light of the continuing severe weather conditions and forecasts, it has been decided that classwork in all schools of the valley shall remain suspended for one day tomorrow (21st April),” Sakina Itoo wrote on X.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
She further stated that the move was necessary as the safety of students remains the top priority for the government under the current weather situation.
The valley has been witnessing adverse weather for the past few days, prompting authorities to review the situation and take preventive steps to avoid any inconvenience or risk to school children. (KNS)
