Bandipora, 02 Sep (KNS): Employees of Chief Medical Officer Bandipora narrowly escaped when part of a ceiling collapsed, sending Plaster of Paris (PoP) crashing onto their tables and the floor.

A large section of plaster ceiling in the office collapsed.

"During the incident, the employees of the health department were working. Some furnishings and equipment in the office were damaged.

The CMO office is situated in the Mini Secretariat of Bandipora, which is only a few years old.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelLocals have several times complained about the use of sub-standard materials used during construction. The incident was reported at 02:30 pm.

Few years ago the then CMO Bandipora also was injured when the ceiling collapsed raising fingers over the quality of work by executing agency. (KNS)
