Srinagar Jan 26 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Sunday celebrated Republic Day at Srinagar M.A Road Party Office in which Senior Congress Leaders and workers including frontal organizations participated and exchanged greetings.

On the occasion of 76th Republic Day Congress leaders and workers assembled at Srinagar M.A.Road Party office to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and the country’s transition to a republic which came into effect on 26 January 1950. Senior Congress Leaders Abdul Gani Khan,Nissar Ahmad Mundoo, Mahila President Shameema Raina, District President Irfan Naqib, Dr.Audil Farooq Mir, Dr.Waleed Tariq Karra, Nargis were among the senior leaders who were present.

The Srinagar District Congress Committee led by Irfan Naqib organized the Republic Day function at Srinagar Party Office, Similarly, District Congress Committee Presidents organized Republic Day functions at their respective district headquarters in various districts and exchanged greetings with party workers.(KNS)
