Jammu, July 23 (KNS)President JKPCC Vikar Rasool Wani announced that the Congress party will release a people's manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections, providing guarantees and commitments to be fulfilled in a timely manner. Addressing a press conference alongside Working President Raman Bhalla, Former MP Lal Singh, and other senior leaders, Wani criticized the BJP for causing hardships over the past ten years.

Congress plans to reach out to the public to incorporate their demands into the manifesto, aiming to provide relief to all sections of society. Two committees for Jammu province have been formed to gather suggestions from stakeholders, with a similar committee for Kashmir province to be established within 15 days.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Wani expressed concern over increased terror activities, attributing them to government failures in strengthening security. He called for the restoration of statehood before elections and criticized the recent order transferring powers to the Lt. Governor, viewing it as a BJP tactic against non-BJP governance in J&K.

The Jammu committees are headed by Ravinder Sharma and Naresh Gupta, with members including TS Bajwa, Indu Pawar, Shashi Sharma, Mohib Khan, Uday Bhanu Chib, Suresh Dogra, Pradeep Bhagat, Mulak Raj Bhamagi, Feroz Ahmed Khan, Rakesh Wazir, Narinder Khajuria, and Kajal Rajput.(KNS)
