Srinagar, June 28 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Friday said that the spirit of cooperation is a hallmark of Kashmir's enduring tradition of hospitality and cultural heritage.
Addressing reporters at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) after a meeting with civil society members organized by the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Sinha said that it has become customary to engage in discussions with civil society members, elected representatives, and other stakeholders whenever any event occurs in Jammu and Kashmir.
“We had a comprehensive discussion today, and it took place in a positive atmosphere, as the first batch of pilgrims have arrived in Kashmir", he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The LG said that for the past few years, he has seen everyone providing all kinds of support, which is a tradition of Kashmir and is being maintained.
He praised the collaborative efforts of stakeholders, expressing optimism that this year's Yatra will surpass previous successes. "I hope the Yatra will be even better than in previous years," Sinha concluded.(KNS)
