Kupwara, Dec 19(KNS): The 162 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), deployed in the scenic village of Audoora Qalamabad in Kupwara district, organized a free medical camp to provide much-needed healthcare services to local residents.
Despite harsh weather conditions and daytime temperatures barely reaching double digits, the camp witnessed an overwhelming turnout from the local community.
The initiative aimed to offer free medical consultations and medicines, extending a helping hand to the people of Kupwara. The effort reflects the CRPF's ethos of going beyond the call of duty to support citizens in areas of deployment.

The medical camp was organized under the supervision of Commandant P K Lal, with active participation from officers, personnel of the 162 Battalion, and a dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Government Medical College Handwara Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant P K Lal thanked the local residents for their trust in the CRPF and their participation in the camp. He reiterated the battalion's commitment to continue such initiatives, emphasizing that community engagement and assistance remain deeply rooted in the CRPF's culture.(KNS)
