Srinagar, July 14 (KNS) : In a significant public outreach initiative aimed at strengthening citizen engagement and ensuring responsive governance, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board and Minister of State, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, on tuesday held a Public Darbar at the Central Waqf Office in Sonwar.
More than 50 deputations and individuals from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir met Dr. Andrabi and submitted their grievances, representations and suggestions related to Waqf affairs, shrine management, public welfare and other community concerns.
Giving a patient hearing to every delegation, Dr. Andrabi issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for the prompt redressal of genuine grievances. The visiting deputations appreciated Dr. Andrabi's accessible leadership, compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to public service.
