Srinagar, July 23 (KNS) :Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, on Thursday visited the revered shrine of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Makhdoom Sahib (RA) in Srinagar to review the arrangements being put in place for the forthcoming Annual Urs.

During the visit, Dr Andrabi also inspected the ongoing construction works at the shrine. Accompanied by Waqf Board officers and a team of engineers, she assessed the quality of the work in progress and directed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion of all projects in strict adherence to the approved specifications.

Reiterating the Waqf Board's commitment to ensuring smooth and efficient Urs arrangements, she said that all necessary preparations are being made in close coordination with the Civil Administration, security agencies and the public to facilitate devotees during the annual observance.

The Chairperson also appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Waqf Board employees, acknowledging their hard work in strengthening a transparent and accountable system aimed at providing better facilities and services to visitors at all shrines managed by the Board.(KNS)
