Budgam, Nov 15(KNS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, visited the ancient Mata Ragenya Asthapan temple in Raithan, Khansahib, and formally launched Phase-1 of its beautification and development project.

The first phase of the project includes the construction of a multipurpose Yatri Hall, kitchen facilities, the development of an approach road, tile pathing within the temple premises, chain-link fencing, and the beautification of the temple entrance. These efforts aim to enhance facilities for devotees while also promoting the site as a significant religious tourism destination for the Khansahib region, ultimately benefiting the local economy by creating livelihood opportunities.

The DC was accompanied by the DDC member Khansahib, Chief Planning Officer Budgam, SDM Khansahib, Tehsildar Khansahib, BDO Khansahib, Executive Engineer RDD, and other officials.
