SRINAGAR, JULY 23 (KNS): A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee(DLIC) was Tuesday convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat to review the implementation of Mission Youth schemes including Mumkin, Tejiswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI) in the District.
The meeting was attended by the Committee members of the District Level Implementation Committee of the District.
During the meeting, a total of 144 cases were approved under various Mission Youth schemes including 54 applications under SEI scheme, 61 cases under Mumkin scheme and 29 cases under Tejiswani scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of these self-employment initiatives in fostering youth empowerment within the District.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The DC instructed the Committee to give wide publicity to these schemes so that maximum unemployed youth avail benefits thereby earn livelihood for themselves and their family.
The meeting was also attended by General Manager DIC, Hamida Akhter; Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad; District Social Welfare Officer, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, ARTO, Syed Farhana Asgar, Deputy. Director Employment Srinagar, Dr. Sheeba Inayat, Lead District Manager and representatives from JKEDI Srinagar and KVIB Srinagar.(KNS)
