KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 3 (KNS): The picturesque HajiNard village of Karnah in Kupwara district today witnessed a mega Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme to generate awareness regarding value of exercising franchise and ensure larger voter turnout in the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024.

During the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program held at Govt. Middle School HajiNard, the District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan emphasized the importance of students as brand ambassadors for elections. The DEO highlighted that students play a crucial role in motivating their parents and other community members to participate in the voting process. By spreading awareness and encouraging voter turnout, students can significantly contribute to the democratic process.
