Takes stock of many under construction sports projects

Kupwara, May 13 (KNS) : The  Director  Youth Services and Sports J&K Subash Chander Chibber undertook a comprehensive tour to far off District Kupwara to assess the progress of ongoing activities and evaluate the ground-level situation of various developmental projects being constructed by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K. He was accompanied by District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kupwara Zahoor Ahmed Wani and other senior field officers and officials of the Department of YS&S.
During his visit, Director engaged with various stakeholders, including local youth, officials of the Department of YSS and community representatives, to gain insights into the execution of ongoing projects and initiatives of the Department. The primary focus was to ensure the effective utilization of resources and infrastructure to promote youth engagement and sports development in the district.
He visited under construction playfeild at Anderhama in sports zone Drugmulla, Galizoo stadium Kupwara, Haqanabad Punzwa and kralpora to assess the progress and status of various ongoing development sports projects in the district.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While addressing the Press at Galizoo stadium Kupwara Director expressed satisfaction with the ongoing efforts of the field staff of the District in fostering a vibrant sports culture in Kupwara. He ensured that every step would be taken to nurture sports talents of the Kupwara youth in the best possible manner. Emphasizing the importance of sports in holistic development, the Director reiterated the Department's unconditional support towards providing ample opportunities for the youth to excel in various sporting disciplines.
Director assured of continuous support and assistance from the YSS to address any challenges or requirements in identifying and channelizing sports talent in J&K youth. He further reaffirmed the commitment to the overall welfare and empowerment of the youth in the region through games and sports.(KNS)
