Bandipora, October 30(KNS): The District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) in Bandipora organized a District-Level Toycathon competition in 2024 aimed at promoting creativity, hands-on learning, and innovation among students. This year’s event saw participation from 130 schools across the district, offering a platform for students to design eco-friendly toys from low-cost materials under the guidance of their teachers.
The competition included three categories based on age and skill, enabling students to learn from each other. The toys on display covered a range of types, including puzzles, mechanical models, and crafts inspired by local culture, all made from recyclable materials.
