DPAP Releases First List of 13 Candidates for J&K Assembly Elections

Srinagar, Aug 25(KNS): The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) on Sunday released its first list of 13 candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.

The party's general secretary (organisation) R S Chib announced the list, which includes prominent leaders and local politicians.

The DPAP has decided to field Abdul Majeed Wani from Doda East, Mohammad Amin Bhat from Devsar, and Mohammad Aslam Goni from Bhaderwah. Saleem Parray will contest from Dooru, while Muneer Ahmed Mir will represent the party from Lolab.

Other candidates in the list include Bilal Ahmed Deva from Anantnag West, Ghulam Nabi Wani from Rajpora, Mir Altaf Hussain from Anantnag, and Qaiser Sultan Ganai from Ganderbal.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Additionally, the party has fielded Ghulam Nabi Bhat from Eidgah, Amir Ahmed Bhat from Khanyar, Nisar Ahmed Lone from Gurez, and Peer Bilal Ahmed from Hazratbal.

The DPAP, led by former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, will make its maiden appearance in the J&K Assembly elections. The polls are scheduled to take place in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1.(KNS).
